You’ll find a lot to do any day of the week right here in northwest Ohio

If you enjoy stage productions, opera or the symphony, you will find them all here in northwest Ohio. The Toledo Symphony Orchestra and the Toledo Opera Association offer regular concerts throughout the year as well as special events during the holidays. National theater troupes often visit the Stranahan Theater, the Valentine Theater and the Franciscan Center. The Toledo Rep and the Village Players are local organizations that also provide stage productions.

Each day, there are activities and events planned at one of the myriad of venues throughout northwest Ohio. Whether you are interested in going to a wine-tasting, attending a Mud Hens baseball game or enjoying a concert, it’s all available and easily accessible from almost anywhere in the Toledo area.

From the Toledo Walleye to the Toledo Mud Hens, you will find competitive sporting events that offer family-friendly fun right here in northwest Ohio. The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University also offer fast-paced action in a variety of men’s and women’s sporting events including football, basketball, baseball and softball.

The nightlife around Toledo offers a myriad of possibilities. You could go line dancing at Bootleggers, enjoy a Guinness at Mickey Finn’s Pub or catch an up-and-coming national act at Frankie’s. The Toledo Zoo amphitheater is also a great place to catch national musicians on hot summer nights. Other great local clubs include Gator’z, Shawn’s Back Door, the Distillery, Murphy’s Place and Club Nitro.
